Jungle Fever

Oy...It's hot...and buggy...and humid. We all got shipped into the internet cafe tonight because apparently there was some kind of bomb or claymore attack in Jaffna within the last few days. There's no need to worry about us since we are so tucked away in the countryside that I don't even know how our driver finds our worksites everyday...
Same sweltering internet cafe, and there are cold beers in the van so toodles for now.

Troubles are flaring up again it would seem, there was a bus bomb but the Tigers have denied responsibility. The sinhalese responded with air strikes. I guess you probably looked it up yourself. I don't think the jungle would be a target, as you say, but be carefull! :-) Thinking of you...

I recall being in the jungle when the Ecuadorian government was overthrown but it was business as usual for the jungle folk.

Sounds like fun AND hard work.

The boys are complaining because a new aspect of the Avalon Diet has been introcduced...carrots! ("Blaugh" Harvey says.)

We think of you everyday.
